Project: “Лист до Мажора” (“A Letter to the Major”), a novel by Bohdana Malkina

Format: cinematic AI book teaser, vertical video, 23 sec

Task

Create a short teaser that sparks readers' curiosity about the story and makes them want to know what happens next — with no spoilers and no long explanations.

Concept

The teaser is built like a movie trailer. The key detail is a burgundy envelope with a letter that appears in a cold, white laboratory. Then comes a quick introduction to the characters: glances, tension between them, shared scenes in a lecture hall, a corridor and an elevator. The video ends with the book cover.

Instead of retelling the plot, the video conveys the mood of the story and leaves one question open: what's in the letter?

What I Did

• Developed the concept and storyboard.
• Generated the characters and kept their appearance consistent across all scenes.
• Created cinematic shots and animated them with AI tools.
• Edited the final video and closed it with the book cover.

Purpose: promoting the book on social media — Reels, TikTok, Shorts — and introducing new readers to the story.
